The Brazilians Nationals was raced on September 7â“9 and was a huge success. This race saw the debut of the XRAY XB8-TQ in the Brazilians Nationals with new XRAY TEAM BRASIL driver Pedro Thieme of Off-road Class.

Thirty-eight drivers attended this event, including South American champion Adrian Castro. We can say that was the best Brazilian Nationals to date. The race was held in Clube Náutico with excellent facilities that helped to make it a success. The race organization was in the very good hands of Clube SPARC (Márcio Zsiga and Ronalde Salgado).

Thursday, September 7 â“ We have 3 sessions with timekeeping to form the heats. The track wasnâ™t so good in the beginning⦠it was very slippery, make every driver work hard to find the right setup. At the end of the day Pedro got 4th place on the same lap as the leader (13 lap) but 16 seconds behind. Friday, September 8 - Now the real fun began! The heats were structured to put 5 drivers directly into the final. Was raced 5 heats of 10 minutes each. After all 5 heats the top 5 drivers were the following:
Saturday, September 9 â“ Now, those who couldnâ™t go direct into the final had to work hard in the semis to get there. During lunchtime, everybody was calm and eating⦠but all knew the battles would begin after lunch.
THE FINAL
The final were each 10 minutes long.

Pedro told me that for the first race the result was very good. He thinks the XB8-TQ is very superior compared to his older car. He was glad to choose the XRAY XB8-TQ chassis to race from now on. We hope to see continued good results in the future.
